The Responsibility booklet includes four lessons that help children understand their accountability to God:

2. Not Make Excuses features the story of King Saul’s making an excuse and the consequence.
3. Take Good Care of Things Entrusted to Me features the example of David tending his father’s sheep.
4. Remember He Is Watching features the story of the hidden silver, gold, and Babylonish garment.

When children understand that God, Who sees in secret, is the ultimate Rewarder, they will be motivated to be faithful with the opportunities entrusted to them.
