The Determination booklet includes four lessons that help children seek the Lord for God-honoring goals and stay focused in their resolve to accomplish them.

1. Stay the Course features the story of what happened to a king who did not continue to honor God.
2. Not Be Discouraged by Others features the story of the plot to discourage Daniel’s daily discipline.
3. Ignore Distractions features the story of the devious plans to distract Nehemiah from building the wall.
4. Make Sure My Methods Are Right features the story of David learning from his mistake of improperly moving the Ark of the Covenant.

Through this study, children are encouraged to trust God to give them the resolve and courage to ignore distractions and reach the goal.
